As if one way on constructing a concept, is to creating/come up with multiple signs as dots, connect them into a line, a narration, and ultimately form into a plane, a concept.  The work is an exploration on the possibility of how meanings signify in artworks. The outlook that underpinning this art creation breaks the work into three modules, Form, Content, and Title, sites where meaning interact also signified, and treats all of them as the medium of the artwork. 
In Time after Time, it confronts the perpetual human condition - the inheritability of ideologies, under this perpetually changing age, how it is inherited through time, generations, and eventually form into repeating patterns, mental processes that seem inevitable and inescapable. 
The sound is composed by repeating audio clips that transfer one identifiable sound into the other through time: child to woman, knife chopping to iron striking, factory to hospital, The audio transitions were generated through our sound morphing algorithm. The visualization was accomplished through our second algorithm, which offers a technical breakthrough, a scenery that hasn't been seen in STFT (a crucial technique in terms of audio-visual art) by making data perceivable by human beings through bestowing time sequence within data. 
"Time" and "Unchanged" in Content (inheritance), "Time" and "Change" in Form(Temporarily in Sound, Transformation, repeat composition on sound), and the "Time" and "Unchanged" in Title (Time after Time). It is the aim, to create shared elements that connect Form, Content, and Title and eventually form into a relationship of parallelism, an ironic tone of accusations toward unquestioned inheritance process of poisonous ideologies.

In the work, the representation of  meaning can be a single literal concept, can be a pattern, or a concrete expression through mediums, even the essence of a medium in terms of its physical trait or representation under certain context.

如果說有一種概念的構成方法 — 是來自如單點般的符號,以作品作為載體、透過符號彼此的互動關係連成線,即敘事,最後交織構成一個面、一個概念。
此作品探索藝術作品中敘事的可能性。其背後看待藝術創作的視角,是透過將一件作品,解構成內容、形式、與標題,並將三者皆視為創作媒材、作用意義的場域。
內容上,隨時間與世代更迭的同時,意識形態在一代代個體間被繼承,最終形成像命運似、難以逃離的輪迴現象 — 那些潛藏於意識之下被傳承延續的。
形式中,將兩個具有不同符號的聲音檔、導入自製的演算法、生成出一段段隨時間將符號轉換成另一符號的音檔(好比女聲至兒啼,切菜至金屬敲打,工廠渦輪至醫院儀器)後作為材料編曲、最後套入聲音空間化。隨後將完成的聲音作品丟入另一自製的演算法、再將其數據透過3D軟體 視覺化。
這是一件以「關係」為主軸的作品,作品本體為內容、形式、作品名間織起的連結。內容上的「時間」與「不變」(繼承),形式上的「時間」(聲音的時間性)的「改變」 (Sound Transformation)與「不變」 (一直被重複的符號),標題中的「時間」與「不變」 (Time 與 Time after time, 中文譯作一次次)。最後透過符號在三個場域中的平行存在,形塑成一種無形的關係、一種針對時間推演、世代變遷,然而那些不慎健康的意識形態卻不被質疑的諷刺語氣。
